KFF shows its novelties in Milan
07/05/2014 - Time for beautiful things, time for a new visionary table creation! The design label KFF presented its product range in Milan. And once again throws the spotlight on attractions such as the chair Maverick and the armchair Luis, at a stand which is introduced with passion. The design transforms the display area into a giant lounge with soul! A striking feature of the furniture is the international language of form. This way the collection captivates through extraordinary design and timeless character.

'In times of advancing globalisation we believe it is immensely important to develop tables, chairs, armchairs and ancillary units, which work everywhere where straight-line modern form fused with emotion is appreciated,' said managing director Jens Lewe. 'But of course we aim, once again, to move our Milan visitors on an emotional level. This will be achieved through our specially developed concept for trade show stands. The stand in hall 10.1 appears as one big, inviting lounge and invokes charming features of times gone by. Big windows with urban and country views inclusive. As in the last three years, an unusual design provides a fascinating focus for the exhibition. Oiled crude steel, walnut and oak end-grain boards amalgamate into a large table of 240 x 240 centimetres, which is a work of art. A statement! KFF deliberately indulges itself with this creative leeway.

After Milan comes series production
Last year the table model ARTUS, with its sweeping four-meter long tabletop made of historic floor boards, was a widely-acclaimed stage show-stopper at the fair. By now ARTUS is a permanent member of the KFF cast. It is available in established table sizes with a top of oiled oak and still enjoys the limelight. Its proportions are perfect, not just in profile.

The leg frames are ground-based and connected by a flat transverse beam, from whose centre two reinforcing cross-stays extend left and right to the upper bars of the leg frame. The result is a balanced and thrilling construction.

Often big is not big enough
Big tables are great, even if one does not always sit together in a large group. But should more than four guests arrive, big is often not big enough. So ideally it should be possible to adapt the table. Extendable table EYNS+ can be lengthened on one side by 60 cm, a synchronising mechanism shifts the main table top by 30 cm, maintaining symmetry in appearance and balance. It is available in 2 leg variations: with the classical four-legged frame and with runners of flat steel and slightly angular legs to the top. Both versions are extremely stable and available with various surfaces

Classy without compromise
The successful chair UNIQUE and fitting table are presented in noble special editions and also as DARK UNIQUE which is an ideal combination of both models. The designs by team formmodul appear purist in the best sense of the word; they forego formal approach and with respect to material and workmanship are without compromise.

The comfort of the award-winning chair – with or without armrest – is proverbial and typical for KFF. Another feature is the timeless appearance –true of both UNIQUE models. Chromed or black pipe profile form the leg frames of the table and carry a 30 mm strong top with a surface in oak basalt or oak grey. For the gorgeous chair there is a choice of black and dark brown leather; its aluminium structure can be black or polished.

Super comfortable and simply beautiful
A perfect match is the extremely comfortable and graceful shell chair MAVERICK, designed by Birgit Hoffmann; also ideal in combination with the table model ZWO 60. Edition GREY with the surfaces oak basalt, oak grey, mood grey and Dakota grey table tops, table frames, seat shells and frame structures offers convincing harmony in form and colour. Loud effects are not required here; instead quiet noblesse captivates, the surface feel of leather, the finesse of the wooden surfaces and the harmonious colour concept, draws its potential from only four shades and makes it so customisable.

Side table with cult factor
The new side table YCKS, presented by KFF for the first time at the Cologne furniture fair, and also in the Milan fair package, is particularly in line with the latest trend. With its unconventional design, the easy-to-use light-weight side table pays homage to the 50s and 60s. Its modern look and luminous maple wood go perfectly with the upholstered furniture from the extensive collection of the German design manufactory.
