Precious materials and innovative technologies for the latest generation fenestration. In steel, stainless steel, cor-ten steel and architectural bronze.
Doors, windows, lifting and sliding openings and a complete series of thermal-insulated systems characterized by a refined design and guaranteeing excellent energy saving.FerroFinestra
for restoration works, curtain walls for modern architecture and many other original solutions for every kind of openings. Smallest visual impact of the profiles for largest glass openings, with the security guaranteed by a 2 mm thick steel sheet. Mogs
teams up with architects and designers in accomplishing their most distinguishing plans, for residential, commercial and industrial buildings, as well as for all those buildings with a peculiar use, such as banks and museums.
LEAN ON US, WE WILL SUPPORT YOU
Mogs takes great care of its consulting service for architects and customers, supplying them from the beginning with technical advice and important information such as feasibility studies, specifications and thermic estimates, as well as cost estimates in order to find the best solution for the specific projects. At a later stage, Mogs works with the sales department and sales agents to coordinate the work with the most qualified metalworkers to carry on the project.
Mogs steel profiles are realized using a continuously formed and welded steel sheet, with a thickness of at least 2 mm (with exception of the Series 15/10), in order to increase burglar resistance at the highest degree. Every other security device, such as iron bars, armoured shutters and alarm systems, become complementary.
Even the thermal insulated systems are studied not to compromise the window security: Mogs insulated systems are extremely resistant both in the profile (the only thermal insulated system with an actual thickness of the steel sheet of 2 mm) and in the insulating section, thanks to a special mix of polymers.
The extra depth of the profile (65-72 mm) is conceived to house every kind of glazing, even very wide and heavy high performance glazing. The special shape of the profile means very high moment of inertia are achieved.
Every system is certified by prestigious institutes, such as IFT Rosenheim. The value – real and perceived – of the buildings provided with Mogs windows and doors increases objectively.
DESIGN: OUR STRONG POINT
Mogs is the most streamlined profile for architectural windows and doors for an extreme refinement of forms. To keep the profile slender also when double glazing is required, we increased the profile depht, thus maintaining unchanged beauty.
The wide range of special finishing options - such as black steel, corten steel, the various brushed and mirror-finish effects of stainless steel, and internal cladding with wood, corian or other materials, as well as the prestigious Architectural Bronze – allow the creation of valued windows and doors.
ENERGY SAVING: CUT DOWN ON POWER CONSUPTION
Using materials like steel in metal constructions means optimizing the planet’s resources. On the one hand, steel guarantees high thermal insulation values, resulting in savings in heating and air conditioning. On the other, Mogs’ sustainability and energy-saving ethic is linked not only to the use of the actual object, but also spawned by the energy losses involved in the making of said object.
The production system for tubular steel profiles is environmentally friendly. Mogs is committed to making the same things, but polluting less.
Primary production of aluminium requires four times more energy than the production of steel. The lack of awareness of these facts leads to clear paradoxes, such as the production of photovoltaic facades that are applied on aluminium systems, which take much more energy to produce than the energy that the system could potentially store once in service. In the United States, on the other hand, 64% of all steel products made each year come from recycled scrap. In this country, in terms of quantity, annual steel recycling outperforms the recycling of glass, paper, plastic and aluminium all put together. In addition to helping conserve the planet’s natural resources, the american steel recycling program each year saves the equivalent amount of energy it would take to run 18 million average homes.
