VEMNL lets you calculate masonry building, unreinforced and reinforced, new and existing, and masonry-RC mixed structures, according to prescriptions by the current Italian seismic code, D.M. 14.01.2008 (Norme Tecniche per le Costruzioni),circ. 617/2009 and UNI ENV 1992-1-1: Eurocode 2 - UNI ENV 1993-1-1: Eurocode 3.
Discretization of the structure is made by 2D finite elements or by equivalent frame. 
Calculation can be run as linear static analysis, linear dynamic analysis, and non linear static analysis (push over).
The software also performs local verifications of the elements (vertical loads, eccentricity, out of plane compression-bending, etc).
You also can add RC elements (curbs, lintels, hoops, beams, foundation beams, walls, columns, plates, floors, plinths, piles) and steel or timber elements (beams, lintels and steelwork around an opening).
It also executes local mechanisms assessing following prescriptions by Italian Circolare 617/2009.
Additional software module CoSMUR gives VEMNL user the features of managing calculating, verifying and drawing strengthening actions to improve static and seismic behaviour of the building.
The software lets you to calculate risk indicators (PGA) according to italian regional guidelines.
Wide possibilities in applying building codes, capabilities of calculating just masonry and mixed masonry-RC buildings, strengthening of existing structures, reporting and graphic detailing of every structural elements,
are the features that let VEMNL be a complete tool for masonry design.

Multilanguage option includes italian, english, franch, spanish and portuguese.

VEM-NL Entry Level includes:

 VEM-NL Professional includes:
