EDOFOCUS 631

Wall-mounted steel fireplace with panoramic glass

Manufacturer Focus

Edofocus Collection
Following an order of 301 Paxfocus fireplaces for a prestigious residential building in Atami, south of Tokyo, Dominique Imbert was asked to create a model with closing glass panels to ensure safety while allowing a 180° view of the fire, with a minimum heat output of 10 kW.
Once created, the Edofocus was installed in 121 apartments in a prestigious tiered building. This fireplace takes its name from Edo, the former name of Tokyo between the 15th and 19th centuries. It was in this city that the model won a bid against international competitors to be installed in 121 deluxe flats. Tokyo has graciously lent its ancient name to the fireplace it elected winner.
This steel fireplace, mounted to the wall or fixed to a base, has three heat-resistant glass panels, one of which opens.
Diameter of hearth: 630 mm
Paint: matt black (standard) or anthracite grey (optional)
Wood-burning (or gas-burning for the version without a door)
