This chandelier was the lighting in the room, “For Two” by Wimmer-Wisgrill on the Vienna exhibition of interieur artists in the Austrian Museum for Art and Industry in 1929/30 and in Paris in 1937. Very massive three-flame ceiling lamp consisting of 2 hand-cut crystal and glass plates. Makes brilliant light! Extraordinarily elaborate design. Weight c. 15kg. Very good condition. Wimmer was
Student of Josef Hoffmann and Alfred Roller. Koloman Moser was his  private teacher. In 1907 he founded  the fashion department of the Wiener Werkstätte, which he headed until 1922. Member of the Austrian Werkbund. 3-flames.
