Solid wood table

Manufacturer Riva 1920

A unique continent that was originally believed to include all the emerged lands. Icon of Pavilion Zero of Expo 2015 in Milan, it proposes a return to the roots and unity, without state boundaries, prejudices, differences between peoples, race and class discriminations.
This table is the symbol of the union of all countries and wants to be a moment of dialogue and meeting between different cultures. A smaller version of the original one, it has surface of 10 square meters. The surface of the table, consisting of 19 shaped parts that intersect with each other going to compose an extra size puzzle, was subjected to a sandblasting process, capable of highlighting and enhancing the wood grain. The top, made of solid oak with glued lists and finished with natural oils, is made using vinyl-based glues, formaldehyde-free and therefore not harmful to the environment and humans; it is finished with natural oils.
The 25 legs in conical section are made of Briccola wood and are placed at the center of each piece to give greater stability to the whole structure. Top available in oak and walnut.

380 x 263,8 x H. 75 cm
