Two-component, air-drying epoxy coating, consisting of liquid resins without solvent and cycloaliphatic catalyst. A special feature of the product is the low viscosity of the catalyst which guarantees extreme ease of application. This enamel produces self-levelling, high gloss, non-sticky coats with exceptional chemical resistance and surface hardness, ideally suited for contact with food liquids. Guarantees a smooth, even surface that is easy to clean and disinfect with operating temperatures from – 20°C to + 50°. COLOURS:White. Transparent, upon request. USE:Ideal as a brilliant finish on concrete, metal and wooden substrates and in all cases in which high resistance to chemical agents and solvents is required. In the case of concrete or plaster coatings, the substrate must be stripped of any old paint and prepared with an undercoat of Epox 322 A+B. The concrete to be treated must be suitable and have the right tensile strength in order to ensure that the paint coat does not peel off the casting. On iron apply an undercoat of Epox 310; on wood apply Epox N438 A+B directly to the substrate; recoat within 72 hours to guarantee good adhesion of the subsequent coats. Carefully mix the two components until a smooth consistency is obtained, then apply using a roller or a notched trowel. Hardening time of the catalysed product is approx. 60 minutes, so only the part to be used within the above time should, therefore, be catalysed. Contact with food products is possible after 5 days. The drying of the enamel will be irremediably damaged by damp substrates and environmental and/or substrate temperatures inferior to +10°C. At temperatures of over +30°C, catalyzation takes place too quickly, so that the enamel becomes instantly unusable. Tools should be washed with Acetone per Lavaggio immediately after use; when a roller is used, after approx. 1-2 hours of work it is no longer usable and should, therefore, be replaced.
