On Light + Building 2010, we introduced the first prototype of our *Track system, and it has been enthusiastically welcomed. Now, we can not only offer it as a project luminaire, but also in a mass-produced version. Encouraged by our clients’ phenomenal reaction, we have decided to develop a wall version of the system. This version features the following particularities: *Track Wall is energized using a small power pack with a transparent feed line and plug, and thus does not require a wall outlet. The modular power distribution system is as flexible as in the pendular version of *Track and leaves just as much freedom to the customer’s own creativity. *Track Wall is mounted at 4 cm distance to the wall. As opposed to the pendular version, there are small, but very powerful LEDs on the backside of the whole structure, providing an even and bright backlighting of the whole system. The globes with their high-power LEDs are mounted in a distance of 8 cm from the octagon with the help of two wire holders. The bowl’s adjustability and the variable positioning of light direction will still be featured in *Track Wall. Octagons 42 x 42 mm, connectors in different lengths (according to requirements), width 10mm. Connectors and octagons, fitted with LEDs (3000K), made of circuit board material (2mm thick) with a silver-white surface. Illuminant: globe Ø 28 mm, flattened on one side, fitted with one LED (approx. 1 watt/80 lumen) in the luminous colors 2700 or 3000 K, a focussing lens and a transparent plastic cover (colorless, red, orange blue). Cooling element in colorless anodized aluminium. Nickel-plated wire holders. The globe’s light is adjustable at will. Power supply 230 volt/sec. 24 volt included. 125 volt on request.
