I DUE QUADRI

I DUE QUADRI -  The design of this piece reminds one of two pictures mounted together in a refined match of wood and crystal. The two frames are different: one has roses and leaves in precious woods next to mother-of-pearl butterflies inlaid one by one; the other has an inlaid pattern in rosewood and boxwood. The part making up the sideboard is closed by a door decorated with inlays depicting branches with mother-of-pearl buds. The glass cabinet features sliding crystal doors with crystal shelves inside and a mirror back. The lower part is open and has removable shelves which can be used as a TV set holder because it has a wooden back (Art. VL22 B). The curved part underneath has drawers with an interlacing of borders with “marqueterie” working. The structure is cherry wood and internal illumination is on request.
