FARFALLA - It is a piece which could be considered to be the emblem-symbol of an already singular Collection. Designer Leopoldo Carpanelli’s inspiration arose once again from a meeting with nature, an endless source of ideas for those who have the sensitivity to see them. The chest of drawers with an essential, elegant line
has at the centre of the two opening wings a brass medallion with a tiger’s eye: the same stone is inserted “cabochon” on the exclusive drawer knobs. There are 3 little tableaux with an inlaid butterfly also to be seen on the little upper drawer on each side of which there are 4 little flaps. The extractable
flat makes it possible to use it as a writing-desk. The structure is solid wood plated with zebrano and walnut with triangular inlaid filleting. The rhombus shaped motif in the centre of the drawers must be underlined as it is made by using sheets of accurately selected walnut. It has a secret compartment. Dimensions: cm 119x56x 03h.
