2013 - Børge Mogensen designed this sofa in 1962 for his home in Gentofte north of Copenhagen, where it still stands, placed between the two tables that dictated the measurements of the sofa. The simplicity and clean lines have since made the sofa one of the most recognised Mogensen pieces, still used widely today in government buildings, embassies, executive offices and private homes the world over.
The 2213 sofa is made of a wooden frame, hand upholstered and finished with piping. The legs are available in untreated, clear lacquered or soap treated, or black lacquered oak, or mahogany.
