Design Year

The idea was born by looking at the huge canals in porphyry, unearthed in wheat Square in Bolzano, formerly used to measure the quality of the grain, then turned into pipes, and now used as planters. The main difficulty in the production of prefabricated planters, resides in the request, by the client, of elements that fit perfectly to the spaces existing useful. We were therefore seeks to achieve many formwork, as there were different dimensions required. The planters modular, instead, allow the production of standard elements, flanked by artifacts of measurement. The solution is particularly suitable, the installation of planters on balconies and the penthouses, where installation space are very precise. We produce planters around the balconies, not vice versa! The artifact, acquires greater architectural value. The walls of the planter, inserted after the jet, are placed in contact with planters produced four sides. The soil and vegetation, then, by covering part of the walls. The shores are embedded on the bottom and on the walls of the planters, and subsequently sealed with special epoxy resins, in order to make the artifacts waterproof.
