Ravel: the result of field experimentation in the Philippines, Patricia Urquiola a’s work marks a further detailed study of the woven theme, which was successfully presented in the debut Canasta collection. Ravel’s woven polyethylene backs blend with a metal base producing a modular element in two different sizes, that can be freely positioned to form linear or corner seats or chaise longue end units. Pouf elements can be used both as intervals between seats and to increase seat depth. The ravel boasts a new dove grey melange-coloured polyethylene yarn with a refined natural texture that fully respects the original design of the weave. Also new is the finish of the painted corten support structure, which joins the black and white options and follows the most recent architecture trends.
