Hinged honeycomb door
Casta - The frame for hinged doors is made completely out of metal and consists of one pair of steel profiles separated by a central wooden profile.
The frame does not require brick-molding. This frame is not telescopic. It has a fix dimension of either 10.5 or 12 cm according to the width of the central wooden profile.
On the external perimeter on both sides of the frame a profile in galvanized steel is placed.
Besides creating a shadow gap with the wall the profile also holds a wire-net in place which is then to be hidden under the plaster.
The rubber-stop on the frame ledge comes in black.
The “piletta” pivots are produced in-house and are available in different finishes.
The frame is supplied fully assembled and has invisible, welded joints on the corners.
No subframe is required for installation.
The frame is fitted directly to the wall by means of latches (wet installation).
Wooden parts of the frame come in Tulipier.Wooden parts of the frame (for doors in solid timber) come either in solid timber or timber veneer.
Doors in local walnut feature yesquero core and walnut veneer; all other doors come in solid timber.
The door blades (thickness 45 mm) consist
of tambour panels and 6 mm MD support.
Plain, lacquered door blades come with
a ledge made from Tulipier.
Plain door blades in solid timber come with
a 6/10 veneer.
The ledge is made from solid timber.
Finishes and qualities
The frame always comes with a zinc-coating for final finish on site.
Lacquered doors and doors in solid timber come with an opaque water-based paint-finish.
Door blades can also be supplied with priming only.
