The essence and rigour of the neutral colour par excellence, white, was the inspiration for Mash up.
Like a white sheet of paper that, with creativity and imagination, is filled with shapes and colours, to become an original composition that can be freely interpreted to achieve unique solutions.
The project began with one facing, one single format 30x60 cm and two neutral colours: white and almond.
These single primary colours were chosen as the perfect background for the vibrant elements with wave effects, diamonds and geometrical shapes that are repeated rhythmically on the surface. The decorations also include floral patterns, lines and stripes, both vertical and horizontal, and basic and patterned sections with a mix of colours that stretch from more neutral tones right through to more striking and intense colours, such as purple and green.
The seemingly contrasting decorations achieve their full effect when they are brought together to combine textures, layouts and achieve exciting and original finishes.
Spaces can be decorated by choosing to assign a different facing texture or segment to each wall or to decorate just one wall by bringing together different patterns in vertical sections. Mash-Up is an artistic combination of patterns and colours.
