Porcelain stoneware wall/floor tiles with wood effect
“Aged” to evoke all the charm and richness of a material that tells a story. With this in mind, Ceramiche Supergres proposes REMAKE, porcelain stoneware floor tiles that mimic aged wood with a timeworn appeal, characterised by marks, layers of paint and streaks etched on the surface as testament to the transformations it has undergone over the years to reflect the different uses.
The name of the collection is already a declaration of intent: a push towards the return to handcrafted materials, to the recovery of natural, aged materials marked by time. For this purpose, the surfaces have intentionally been left raw and unfinished. The imperfections, evident signs of a past that erodes materials are flaunted in the REMAKE collection becoming protagonists of a brand-new aesthetic standard, a new kind of imperfect and incomplete beauty.
The colours proposed are also in line with the purpose of REMAKE: four colours, very shaded and characterised by a strong graphic and chromatic variability, which adapts to environments with a rustic style and vintage flavour. The length of the axes, 48”, allows easily reproducing the typical installation of wooden floorboards.
Functionality and materiality come together in this collection with an old soul, suitable for environments with a vintage flavour, where each piece is different, but when combined together, give a perfect balance of the whole, natural and unique.
The Ecolabel certification was requested for the series. The Remake Brown colour contains recycled materials that contribute to LEED credits (MR 4).
