Design: Erik Jørgensen
When Classic was designed in 1967 great emphasis was placed on topicality, durability, ease of use and minimum maintenance.
Classic was tested by the Danish Institute of Technology and received the highest possible classification. The chairs can therefore stand up to the hard wear and tear they are subjected to in such places as canteens, conference rooms, lecture halls, theatres, institutions, airports etc.
Classic can be stacked 12 high and can be stored away using trolleys.
The shells are made of the highest quality PEFC-certified veneers and come in variations such as beech, cherry, maple, birch and in vast array of lacquered colors.
The chairs can be connected in rows and equipped with a writing tablet. The frame is available in chrome and mat aluminium finish.
Classic can be supplied with arm rests in veneer, lacquered or upholstered finish. The shell can be supplied with full, partial or seat upholstery in a wide range of fabrics.
