DIAPHANÈS | Floor lamp
LED glass floor lamp
The encounter between the material and the light springs a slim and slender suspension.
Diaphanès aims to offer a reinterpretation of an archetypal lampshade, depriving it of the usual light bulb inside and transferring the light source at the top.
The result is an elegant range of luminaires that give shape to a decisive design coherence between aesthetic and functional needs.
The new collection of lamps designed by Valerio Cometti for de Majo is thought to move with the absolute lightness and transparency both in domestic and collective space.
The overall design is reassuring in form and material which is pleasantly familiar, characterized by the transparency of glass and its compositional lightness completed by the frame lacquered in a glossy white nuance.
Designed to meet the most demanding needs of lighting, the collection consists of 2 suspensions from diameter 30cm and 45cm and the floor lamp that reflects the distinctive features of the 2 suspensions.
The light diffusion is directly and indirectly through the internal diffuser with PMMA micro‐prism.
The peculiarity of the collection is the perfect synthesis between rigorous design and performing energy saving LED CRI90 last generation.
The light source is very thin and guarantees homogeneity of light diffusion.
Another peculiarity is given by the higher temperature, 2700 K, and by a higher color rendering index for visual comfort particularly pleasant besides functional.
