Kitchen with integrated handles
Egidio Panzera, R&D Del Tongo
Gibilterra, perfect synthesis.
Gibilterra represents the perfect synthesis of kitchens with groove and handle that brings together the benefits of both. The vertical profile is slightly curved and the handle is fitted at the top of the door, and it consists in a special aluminium profile with die-cast elements, which is combined with the innovative curved design of the door – thereby creating a new look for the door itself, a perfect synthesis between groove and handle.

A white and very bright setting is the distinctive feature of this house at the centre of Istanbul. A definitely warm and modern atmosphere in contrast with the chaos of the Turkish city. This is the house of a family who owns an extensive «home library». Instead of creating a mess, the precious books become an integral part of the kitchen-living area. The bookcase frames the wide windows that reveal the garden outside. The use of natural coating materials contributes to obtaining a simple room with a strong architectural personality.
The kitchen is the heart of this living area featuring the large bookcase. The island has a wide worktop with cooking and washing tools and separates the area where the food is prepared from the dining area. The line of wall elements has a fully functional development and a well-balanced design with plenty of storage space, the insertion of an oven, fridge and larder. The large central unit is used for preparing food and is designed to host small electrical appliances.
