FRP reinforcing mesh for masonry
The consolidation of masonry, whether of stone, brick or mixed materials, is achieved through the application of structural reinforcement constructed from rods, nets and accessories made of composite material FRP. the technique used is “reinforced plastering”, using nets in FRP, and is recognized by the regulations as the most effective since it ensures high degrees of improvement.
The reinforcing mesh is made integral to the walls with connection elements, also made of FRP, distributed uniformly on the surface so as to obtain a structure cooperating with best mechanical behavior solving problems of thermal bridge.
The effectiveness of the consolidation system is guaranteed, over time, by the total absence of corrosion weathering and network compatibility and accessories in FRP with mortars based on lime, gypsum, pozzolana, etc.
