Porcelain stoneware wall/floor tiles
Flaviker’s WIDE large-size panel range has been expanded with the introduction of a new collection. HANGAR explores industrial materials and brings to light things that normally remain hidden, such as lightweight concrete slabs used for insulation and construction of partition walls. The original textured appearance stems from the combination of cement, glass fibre and polystyrene beads and creates a novel aesthetic in line with current stylistic trends.
The WIDE sizes, which range from the record dimensions of 160x320 cm down to 80x80 cm, are created using revolutionary Continua+ technology capable of producing tough yet lightweight porcelain panels in a reduced 7 mm thickness. The technical qualities of Flaviker WIDE panels allow them to be used in advanced solutions such as exterior walls of buildings with ventilated or glued facades.
The HANGAR collection is ideal for all kinds of projects, from large-scale retail and hotel architecture through to custom residential spaces. Exploiting the product’s characteristic directionality, it is possible to create unique solutions with great visual impact, giving floors and walls a distinctive industrial look softened by crossover solutions with other material effects in the Flaviker catalogue.
The HANGAR colour palette comprises four offerings ranging from the eclectic cement tones of Smoke to the pale, luminous elegance of Ash, from the intensity of Coal to the warm and enveloping appeal of Sand.
The décor spirit of HANGAR is expressed above all through the 30 cm side length Triangolo (triangle) size, which accentuates the product’s linear appearance and is ideal for use on both floors and walls with multicoloured installation patterns. The triangular shape extends to the mesh-mounted mosaics, which can be used to create decorative strips for installation in tone-on-tone or contrasting colour schemes.
HANGAR is a complete collection that also includes the X20 version with 20 mm thickness and R11 A+B+C grip surface in colours Smoke and Coal ideal for exterior floors. It can be installed on a traditional cement screed to create vehicular areas, on a dry bed of gravel, grass or sand, or on raised floors.
