Upholstered wooden easy chair
The sophisticated 1788 armchair was designed by Hans J Wegner in 1945 and presented at the Copenhagen Cabinet-makers guild, where Wegner worked together with his friend Børge Mogensen to design ”A Home For the Future”. The lightweight armchair has an exposed wooden construction and interchangeable cushions. The chair is ideal for both exclusive public lounges and private homes.
The 1788 chair is made with a solid beech or oak frame, seat or back cushions in leather or fabric. This chair is available in lacquered, soap treated, olied or black lacquered oak or as well as lacquered or soap treated beech.
