GALLERY - Hans Sandgren Jakobsen’s award-winning Gallery was originally designed in 1998 for the Copenhagen Art Association and was meant to be a stool guests could sit on while they enjoyed the paintings on show. Gallery, which today is sold around the world, is beautiful in its sculptural simplicity. Hidden behind the minimalist design, however, lies an innovative technique that has made it possible to shape veneer in several dimensions.
Gallery is made of 8 mm shape veneer. This stool can connect to further three stools with an optional ganging device to make a bench, and allows people to approach from both sides. Gallery is available in black lacquered ash or walnut.
