From the apodyterium to the caldarium, via the tepidarium and finally the frigidarium: water, a fundamental element of wellbeing, unites the various experiences and connects the different environments at Memo until reaching the ritual of the Finnish sauna. The all-in-one Memo project – by Luca Nichetto for Glass – is home to different areas conceived for the wellbeing generation, both in professional and semi-professional contexts, and adapts to the varying sizes of the designated space. The fully modular individual areas - atrium, sauna, hammam and shower - have been designed to stand alone or in various combinations. The compositions that can be created (Sauna + Hammam – Sauna + Hammam/Shower – Sauna + Shower – Hammam + Shower) are positioned in the space and adapt in size to the specific project area. The use of traditional, natural materials in warm colour tones defines every individual space. Grès Porcelain stoneware panels in light and dark grey colour schemes blend with the copper tones of the fountain and the storage cabinets in the hammam area, where they are joined by softly curved benches in warm grey tones. Natural Hemlock wood is beautifully expressed within the sauna which is furnished with the help of soft lighting from a blown glass lamp.
