The profiles have a central body that acts as the joint and two grooved wings on each side to ensure that the joint is perfectly anchored or fused to the bituminous or synthetic PVC roofing material. The GDO version has a bulb with triple protection while the GDL version has a bulb with double protection.
Resistant to deterioration by the sun, ozone and other agents or chemicals normally found in the atmosphere or water stratum.
They have excellent flexibility even at low temperatures. The mechanical properties are maintained over the long term.
They are compatible with SBS prefabricated bituminous membranes and with prefabricated synthetic PVC felts.
To achieve maximum adherence between the profile and the bituminous or synthetic roofing, we recommend a thorough cleaning of the surfaces to be attached, even with the use of solvents.
In some cases it may be advisable to nail the profiles to ensure better adherence, above all with bituminous roofing.
The joint can also be welded directly on site with a normal hot air.
The GDO 35/350 and GDL 30/350 expansion joints can also be used on roofing.
