Ghost. The strength of what remains invisible to the naked eye
Ghost, the all-glass window by Italserramenti. Extraordinary performance coupled with minimal and trendy aesthetics, for maximum transparency and luminosity.
Ghost. We cannot help but think back to the immensely popular 90s film which won two Oscars.
Ghost. Something that is there and yet remains invisible to the naked eye. Ghost also refers to the "Soul", the key concept of this extraordinary range developed by Italserramenti.
Ghost, the soul of windows and doors, where the frame disappears, baring the soul: glass. The result is a celebration of visibility and transparency, a frameless, entirely glass window which invites large amounts of light to enter. And that is what we actually expect from a window, along with the ability to keep out the cold and noise.
Ghost has been developed is response.
Technically, the wooden leaf profile disappears as it is covered by the white screen-painted glazing frame. What remains is an airy and transparent panel which emerges from the wall without interfering with interior aesthetics. Ghost shutters consist of two low emission glass façades with series hide-away hinges and a handle directly fitted onto the interior glass pane. Special adhesives are used for the structural bonding of glass, guaranteeing robustness and performance.
Ghost can be installed in a wall (Ghost Luce recessed wall fitting) or in a counterframe, hidden in the wall. The result is a window characterised by minimal lines, a captivating design capable of offering truly impressive performance, with a Uw thermal transmittance of up to 1.1 W/m2K. The two-wing window has a 68 mm section, is Class 4 for air permeability, Class E1500 for water tightness and Class C5 for wind resistance.
Ghost is also available for lift and slide corner fittings, conferring a novel vision upon interiors, characterised by absolute depth.
The internal and external glass is available in screen printing, in a variety of RAL colours. The insulating glass spacer can be installed hot on board or in aluminium. Glass features low transmittance, is sound reducing and double chamber with Argon gas. Please note the absence of glazing frames and the positioning of acoustic seals on the mobile panel.
