Manifold for drainage system

All IVAR distribution manifolds are obtained from drawn brass bars with a special profile. They are machined and assembled automaticallyusing the special innovative machinery in the company workshop. The manifolds are submitted to stress relieving treatmentafter mechanical finishing to eliminate all possibility of future cracking and breaking. Each manifold is tested under pressurewith all the fittings and accessories mounted to be sure that there are no leaks. Threads on the main column connections areaccording to the ISO228 standard. Derivation pipes are connected by means of 3/4 EUROKONUS fittings; both are mounted on themanifold with an o-ring and sealed to ensure they do not loosen when disassembling the screw fitting. All the manifold fittings andaccessories are soft-sealed with o-rings and do not require any other intermediate seals.

IVAR manifolds and relative accessories satisfy all the needs of modern installations and can be divided into two large families:

• CS - distribution manifolds with or without pre-assembled off takes suitable for traditional heating or sanitary systems;
• CI - manifolds with incorporated fittings, on-off and balancing valves suitable mainly for floor heating systems.

The fluid interception manifolds (with manual or electro-thermal head) must be used so that the fluid always enters the manifold through the off takes. To avoid inconvenient noise, this manifold must always be mounted on the return circuit. All the thermostatic inserts can be inspected and if necessary changed even when the system is in function. The protective cover, when this is mounted on the manifold, is primarily to protect the thread and occasionally to intercept fluid off take. The adjustment and balancing manifolds (lockshield type) are provided with double micrometric adjustment and position memory in case they are temporarily closed, and can be used equally well on the delivery or return circuit.
