Open wall-mounted wooden shelving unit
The modular KS01 shelving system was created and developed by Jonas Kressel and Ivo Schelle. The construction of this shelving system is based on crosspieces with hole lines that are
fixed to the wall. In these crosspieces, shelves can be inserted at various heights. The shelves are fixed just using metal bolts, without any additional tools, and thus can always be positioned flexibly. Depending on the hole row selected, different shelf heights are possible, for example, for files, books, CDs or DVDs.
Shorter shelves loosen the general visual impression and create a break in the strict symmetry of the vertical and horizontal lines. Due to the different grid patterns, different widths can be achieved, even in the standard models. As is also the case for other shelf systems, the KS01 shelving system is also constructed based on the endless assembly principle. This means it can be executed and used in a way that fits any room size and ambience perfectly.
