Furnishing maharaja style! -In distant Rajasthan we came upon a small group of craftsmen who still practice unique craft skills which have almost been forgotten. The craftsmanship involved in the creation of splendid metal furniture for the residences and palaces of royal families, a skill which was acquired and refined over generations, is reflected in this highly unusual tall dresser. A fabulous work of art which creates a special aura with its flamboyant combination of materials and warm copper glow. Each element is created with loving craftsmanship. The mango wood frame features copper-coloured tinplate, while the fronts consist of traditional materials such as bone, white metal and glass mosaics and are decorated with elaborate inlays.
