Graminflex PE its' an exceptional fiber made of straightened and oriented fibers extruded polyester. The Company has recently started with the manufacturing of the brand new last conception Graminflex PPE fiber, made of high tenacity polypropylene with additives. The special shape of the Graminflex® allows moreover the best holding to the cement matrix, improving therefore the mechanical characteristics against drawing out. The Graminflex® fibre has been designed in fact for applications like projected concrete in tunnels as well as for industrial floors manufacturing, and it's specially suitable for rock walls reinforcement. The Graminflex® fibres are not subjected to corrosion and do not therefore need to be stored in covered places, sheltered from humidity, conditions very unusual to be found in a building yard, since hard to be realised and quite expensive too. The Graminflex® fibres prevent many problems, from the point of view of men's health protection, if compared to the steel ones. In fact no special solutions are requested for the operators (against little accidents such as fingersticks, cuts and scratches) or for the vehicles (as the risk of perforated wheels, because of the steel fibres scattered on the ground) With respect to the steel ones, the Graminflex® fibres even present the advantage of being lighter, and therefore easier to be moved by the operators inside the building yard.

Our company manufactures two different types of Graminflex®:
GRAMINFLEX® PE 30/40 extraordinary macrofibres made of extruded polyester with oriented and streched fibres.
GRAMINFLEX® PPE 30/40 polymer macrofibres made of polypropylene with high toughness and with additives.
Both types of macrofibres have the purpose to improve the flexural strength of concrete.
