External masonry block in wood-concrete
The quality of the product starts with the raw material. The company produces the blocks using only the chips from PEFC certified spruce, only raw material that guarantees high quality standards; sawdust and dust are removed with special vibrating screens.
The petrified wood chips are mixed with “Portland” cement, and then printed and dried naturally, so as to obtain a fully ecological block that does not burn, does not rot, is highly breathable and has high thermal and acoustic insulation. For purely acoustic blocks, the density is further increased.
Where the geometry of the building does not allow the use of the blocks as load-bearing walls, it is possible to use them in panels.
Proceed by connecting the wall to the pillars with horizontal iron bars, this is an easy operation since the blocks are still filled with concrete to guarantee a certain mass that allows for a proper check of the displacement and resistance to expulsion of the panels as provided for by NTC 2008; for panels with filled wood-concrete shuttering blocks the limit movements are .01 h.
