Wooden restaurant chair
Leidse Rijn College (LRC) in the extension district of the same name in Utrecht was designed by Wiel Arets. Remarkable is the design of the facade. This is characterized by a variety of play, of rectangular black gray concrete surfaces and a rectangular window openings with tight light gray frames. The interior is neutral and is dominated by the color white. For the school Wiel Arets specially designed furniture product with an understated design language, but with a particularly attractive outline: the LRC Chair. This is done in white polyester. A new variant based on this LCR Chair designed in wood. This consists of a frame made of bent, laminated wood to which a layer of wood veneer is arranged. This chair with comfortable seating fits both project and in living situation.
