Reissue, Pierre Paulin 1975 / 2018 – Modèles 500 & 500/2
In just a few years, Ligne Roset has become one of the foremost producers of Pierre Paulin pieces and has greatly contributed to the discovery, or rediscovery, of his works both in France and internationally, giving him an active commercial presence in more than 70 countries. It was in 2016, while studying their archives, that Michel Roset and the Paulin family made the decision to reissue, in 2018, a rare pearl which was first manufactured by Artifort in 1975 – but in such low numbers that it is impossible to find a single depiction of one in any publication referencing the work of Pierre Paulin to date: the models 500 (armchair) and 500/2 (settee), a variant of which in jersey was also known as Bonnie.
