Borehole inclinometer measurements are performed in order to monitor in a time scale, entity, speed and direction of the landslide movement. The measurements obtained with repeated readings over the time, allow to realize with a good approximation a model of the level of danger of the investigated site. Through the analysis of the data obtained it is possible to get information on the stabilization operations of the landslide’s slopes. For this type of survey a biaxial inclinometer sensor is usually used; this must slide inside some proper survey’s inclinometer tubes, it must be properly arranged in the ground and made integral with it, using various cement mixtures. The inclinometer tube is provided with grooves that allow the guide carriage (of which the inclinometer probe is provided with) to slide within them and faithfully return the information regarding the landslide movements compared to the axis X and Y in the horizontal plane, from the ideal vertical passing through the point where it is installed.
