Cromie is a collection of modular mixtures and decorations made with 15x15 mm and 20x20 mm tiles from the Perle, Doro, Concerto, Aurore and Tanticolori collections, as indicated in the relevant abacuses. Each collection expresses its own characteristics, from fullness of colour to radiant iridescence, from the sumptuousness of gold to the transparency of glass. Modular blending or composition of the chips gives rise to original multicoloured surfaces that vary greatly in relation to the textures and characters of the individual collections that spawned them: a means of expressing and developing a custom living space. The 36 new mixtures made of 20x20x4 mm chips are a chromatic feast for the eyes, inspired by oceans andcoral barrier reefs, land, stones, flowers and colours that characterise seaside towns around the world. The contrasts are soft and delicate, ton-sur-ton, intending to evoke an impalpable solid colour; they consistmostly of two or three colours, avoiding stark chromatic differences and contrasts in tone. The careful selectionof coloured stuccos to be suggested as complements make the final product even more vibrant and homogeneous.
