The luminaires in the Modul Q family have always been uncompromising. After all you cannot lead a revolution by being weak-kneed. Back in 2006, the Modul Q 36 was the first luminaire in the world to combine design elements such as the conical indentations placed so precisely in the matt acrylic glass panel, and today it remains the "archetype" of the minimalistic LED luminaire.
The square ceiling luminaires in the Modul Q range are made of translucent acrylic glass. Thanks to their unique light characteristic with edge illumination, they are particularly suitable for efficient, wide-area lighting in the home and office. A variety of lighting tasks can be flexibly and effectively covered by the various sizes and performance ratings that are available. Thanks to the modular structure of the Modul Q range, the luminaires can be mounted in various ways – directly on a surface, in cavities or suspended.
The Modul Q 36 IQ is a further special version of the Modul Q range: it is the world's first LED ceiling luminaire with integrated presence detection and ambient light sensor (PDLS.next) in an ultra-slim construction. For the first time ever, the PDLS.next electronics have been completely integrated inside a luminaire just 13 mm high.
Almost all of the luminaires in the Modul Q range are available in 2,700 K, 3,000 K, 4,000 K and are dimmable with an appropriate dimming device plus converter.
LED.next ceiling luminaire with plastic surface-mounted housing, brilliant white for connection to (existing) 24 volt ceiling outlets. The surface-mounted housing serves as space for connections. For the first time ever the functions of the presence detector and ambient light sensor (PDLS.next) have been connected inside the luminaire by means of integrated, intelligent control. Besides electronic master-slave control, a variety of dim conditions and time-related procedures can also be set. Approx. 95 % direct beam, wide beam. Additional ceiling lighting and very even, almost floor-to-ceiling illumination of walls from secondary light. External Nimbus converter required.
