Load test deflectometers (complete set) are nowadays the most commonly used instruments for the load testing on floors, bridges and other metal building structures. The instrument set consists of a clamp, a one-hundredth-scale gauge and a metal wire with physical and mechanical properties that make the instrument resistant to stretching or thermal expansion (C85 steel for springs or Invar wire).
The measuring devices used are gauges with variable stroke of 10mm/30mm/50mm, depending on the test exigencies. The stroke’s length depends on expected deflection of the structure from its base position during the test.
The load test deflectometer set is available with 1 or 3 reading systems.
