The iNOVA  Gateway Dongle is one of the mail elemento if the data network, it has the task of coordinating the communication logic to and from the peripheral components (routers and sensors).
The USB Gateway checks that all network devices are on and working properly; in the event of communication errors, it manages alarms and communicates them to the main software.
The theoretical number of routers and sensors that can be connected to a subnet managed by a single gateway is 65,536. However it is preferable to dissect the global network into subnets with a maximum of ca 30-40 Sensors for reasons of reliability and maintainability.
The interconnection with the IP network for the management of the network and remote data, can be performed with iNOVA GPRS Cloud Gateway.
