Garden stool with footrest
The iconic collection of HARP cord chairs, a RODA bestseller, has been extended to comprise two new products: a stacking chair and a barstool whose connective thread is the sensation of lightness running through the entire collection. Two new design solutions that preserve the original philosophy intact, in other words, that of a geometric shape teamed up with hardwearing and comfortable materials – cord and stainless steel, which come together in a concept that is extremely natural. Both the stacking chair and the barstool of the HARP collection have been designed for contract requirements in mind, while also revealing a strong sense of continuity with the existing products. The simple stainless steel silhouette of the structure is drawn with a light uninterrupted line to regale a remarkable formal fluidity; a loom of cord strings, hand wrapped around the tubular metal structure to create a play of precise horizontal stripes that define seats and backrests as they extend rhythmically from one point to another.
The cords are in double-twisted polyester thread, with a cottony hand-feel, perfect for outdoor use, thanks to an elevated resistance to abrasion, heat, chemical and physical agents, as well as adverse weather conditions, including water and sunlight.
The HARP chair and barstool are available in all colour variants of the collection: structure in smoke enamel painted stainless steel teamed up with grey or olive green cords; structure in milk enamel painted stainless steel with sand or olive green cords; structure in carob enamel painted stainless steel with tobacco coloured cords.
