GARRY | Low coffee table
Low rectangular coffee table
It was whilst observing the magic of the structure of the Musée des Confluences in Lyon that the inspiration for the Garry table came to him. Eric adores the constructive elements of modern architecture. The structure becomes a giant sculpture, the structure becomes the Truth. Here, all the work has gone into the structure, which becomes a decorative element, identifying itself with the product. The structure is brought to the fore, becoming the decorative focal point. The glass is glued to it and magnifies it. Eric Jourdan worked on the Garry table like an architect defining the structure of a new building.
Base in beech multi-ply reinforced with 2 sheets of aluminium clad in American walnut veneer. The pieces of wood are pinned together. The entire wooden structure is glued to a sheet of toughened ‘cristal’ glass.
