Self supporting wooden Open staircase

Wood, Crystal

The Mistral is a structural glass staircase and the treads can either be wood, concrete, glass or even steel.

MISTRAL CURVED STRUCTURAL GLASS Structural glass stairs are one of our specialties. In 1995 Christian Siller built his first glass staircase with a structural glass railing. At this time no one ever thought that the architectural glass in the stair industry would become so popular. Our glass stair projects went bigger and more complicated. First only in the private sector but now in the commercial sector as well the structural glass stairs are requested as feature stairs which provide a very special feeling to all people entering a room and climbing the stair.  Due to the long experience with trial and error we can approach our current projects with the security of long time experience and professionalism. Stairs:  Wood/Glass/Stone; Banister: Glass; Technical details: Landing; Straight, 1/4 or 1/2 spiral stair layout. Self supporting stairs. Treads made of wood 50-60mm thick in solid wood, glued. Treads with stainless steel bolts and acoustic  insulation, mounted and/or anchored in the wall. Stair width up to 1050mm. Stair banister made of: Safety glass 8+8+8mm. Special hardened glass with special film attached. All edges chamfered and ground. Glass banister attached to stairs at 5mm intervals with stainless steel bracket as load bearing construction. Fitted round or rectangular wooden handrail produced according to customer wishes. Banister height 1000mm.
