By definition, a minimalist handle is a component where only the lever is seen by the user. In other words, the unnecessary is done away with and what is fundamental for it to work correctly, such as the backplate, seen screws etc., is to develop a concealed mechanism that only leaves the lever handle exposed.
In esscence, a minimalist handle will be the first thought and the basic common essential a person will have when they give their idea of a handle, it should be without specifically referring to the world of aluminium building enclosures. It is like the first letter of the alphabet, it is the ALFA of handles.
With this design premise, we have concentrated on a unique product of minimalist design together with a simple, reliable and very robust mechanism. The aesthetics of the handle are concentrated in the style and character of the system lines which then gives us unprecedented creative liberty.
Our transmission box is now equipped with a floating component that adapts to any Euro-Groove series on the market and as well as making making it a firmer and more robust mechanism. From a geometric and material point of view, all of its components have been researched until arriving at a solution where tilt/turn or turn/tilt windows will operate with up to 150 kg of weight during 25,000 opening and closing cycles.
The profile fabrication has been considered and can be carried out as a similar fabrication to the existing STAC spindle handles.
The handle is supplied with a positioning and retention mechanism that allows it to be installed directly with a “click”. Removing the handle is equally simple (using the correct tool) which allows our clients to transport the windows without the handle in place and install them on site. This advantage therefore prevents the handles being damaged, scratched or splashed with plaster or paint etc.
