1 Swimming pool safety
Swimming pool safety devices are important in outdoors pools. They are necessary to limit the bathing area and to prevent people entering the pool when there’s no surveillance. These protections are mandatory when you have 5 year old kids, or younger, trying to get into the water without an adult with them. The protections are often made of pre-assembled panels that are mounted by fixing them to the ground with supporting poles. They can be made of aluminum bars, tempered glass panes, acrylic glass or metal only. The important thing is that the protections leave the pool completely visible. Pool barriers can be fixed or removable depending on your needs. Fixed barriers are safer and better looking but expensive while the removable ones are fast and easy to put away together with other swimming pool equipment. The best the market has to offer are the ones made of textilene, a synthetic fiber that is really durable and resistant to mechanical strain, UV rays and mold. The regulation reference for swimming pool safety is the NF P 90-306 standard which establishes a minimum height of 1,1m for the fence. You will also need to install a safety gate for children.
