Integral Crea. In current architectural practice, the roof is seen as a significant design factor. Even when buildings have a sloping roof, they are often intended to present a cohesive appearance. The classical division of buildings into three parts ? base, central section and roof ? is being rejected in favour of a solid, monolithic impression. There is an attempt at reduction to the most important elements of the art of construction: walls and openings. Because roofing areas have to withstand different stresses from façades, only a few building materials can be used to meet the technical demands associated with achieving a uniform constructional appearance. Eternit fibre cement enables three visually-different solutions to be created: one with a small format, another with a large format and the third with corrugated tiles.
