Stackable lacquered wooden chair
“Inspiration does not follow regular routes. Only with hindsight does inspiration seem indeed logical. One thing is true, though: inspiration is a source of inspiration.” With these words - at the same time playful and profound - designers Mårten Claesson, Eero Koivisto and Ola Rune sum up the coming into being of the Kelly project - a new chapter in their collaboration with Tacchini. Pure and bright colors, organic shapes, friendly and wholesome feelings enliven a wealth of sensible furnishing suggestions for domestic spaces and public areas, thanks to the unique blend of creativity harnessed by the Swedish designers and the sheer quality, team-working skills and attention to detail that have always distinguished this Italian company. Three seating furnishings are showcased: each with its own personality, playing on different-sized backrests and seats, suspended upon sleek metal frames, melding vintage settings and modern art inspirations. Their shapes, as well as color shades available are designed to stand alone or to conjure freely-inspired matches and compositions – whether in the home or in the world of contract supplies.
The evolution of Kelly project continues, a collection of chairs and complements inspired by the concept
of a colored, friendly and multiform design which creates an endless series of theme variations and materials explorations. Marked by a captivating rounded shape and a thin painted or chromed metallic structure, Kelly V wooden chair presents three new versions. Rich of charm and artisan prestige, the model with horizontal bicolor structure, with darker or lighter wood on the top and on the back, dyed light blue, grey and brown; the model with wood lacquered structure is in accordance with contemporary styles; the laminated version is adaptable and functional for every situation. All models are stackable: a feature that allows to save space, particularly appreciated in the contract market.
