This rocking chair is one of the few of this type made of tubular steel. It convinces with its extraordinary flexing comfort and simple, timeless design. The generous, elegant curve of the tubular steel frame bent into an endless loop combined with the ergonomically shaped seat shell communicates living comfort in a modern and lightweight way. With this design Ulrich Böhme continues the tradition of Thonet. In its type and form, the S 826 is a reinterpretation of the classic bentwood rocking chair no. 1 from 1860; in its material it is oriented towards the tubular steel furniture.
