The light, elegant forms of the CTR collection combine technique with natural elegance. CTR owes its name to the powder-coated tubular section that follows the entire line of the chair.
With CTR, the Italian designer Piergiorgio Cazzaniga does what he does best: combining technical ingenuity with an apparently simple design. The chair’s frame consists of powder-coated stainless steel tube sections curved in a continuous line. This requires great mastery as the corners are solid.
The back is only attached to the frame at two points, so it appears to float, and gives a flexible support to the back. The weave with open structure refers to the centuries-old tradition of weaving. The seat is covered with a cushion that is fully water-repellent and easy to remove. The CTR family consists of an arm chair, a lounge chair and a two-seater.
The frame consists of stainless steel tubular sections, powdercoated with an ultra-durable coating. The back is woven from Tricord, a weather-resistant and environmentally friendly fibre based on polyolefin.
