Acrylic lounge chair / deck chair
This sun lounger was designed by François Turpin in 1933. Little information is available about Turpin, a Parisian who was also a literary critic, essayist, painter… Only a few of this design were produced in the 1930's – from time to time they can be found in galleries or auction houses. The lines of the FT33 are flowing and light. The strength of the design is in its delicacy and a simple length of fabric suffices for comfortable seating. The frame is powder coated steel and hard-wearing for outdoors. The 100% acrylic fabric is also perfectly suitable for outdoor use.
