MICROLIME GEL is a mixture consisting of air and hydraulic binders and pozzolanic-effect and inert fine fillers, added with specific thickening agents that provide it with a pseudoplastic-type behaviour (gel).
WHERE TO USE IT
To re-aggregate and strengthen rubble masonry or similar walls (presence of cavities) by means of injection;
to re-aggregate and strengthen walls by means of injection, in which the mixture cannot be contained and stopped from spreading, such as foundations and retaining walls.
Allows localised injections to be performed, thereby guaranteeing retention of the binder in the injected area thanks to its particular characteristics;
allows selective masonry consolidation, such as structural reinforcement grids, e.g. curbs and columns, thanks to the highly cohesive mixture;
good injectability and free of separation phenomena during injection;
it does not cause a thermal increase in thewall structure during the curing process;
once the curing process is complete, it produces mechanical strength and modulus of elasticity values that are compatible with the characteristic values of the stone structure material;
enhances the wall structure performance thanks to the high degree of uniformity and re-aggregation achieved;
excellent washout resistance that allows it to also be used in structures that are in contact with or affected by water percolation.
