Here we are at the imm Cologne 2020, the first exhibition of the year dedicated to furniture and interior design, has always been one of the most important date for this business, where Nicoletti Home, an international recognized company in the quality upholstered furniture sector, based in Matera, will introduce eight original projects (six sofas and two armchairs), some of them being the result of a continuous contamination of the Centro Studi with major design studios and young promises.
TEMPTATIONHaving said that, on the occasion of the Cologne Fair, the company consolidates its co-operation with Sylvain Joly Design, a well-known furniture design studio from Paris, and introduces projects by Filippo Dilecce, a young designer from Matera. Born in 1992, graduated in 2014 at the IED in Milan, he has already cooperated with Ilaria Marelli’s studio in Como and designed two easy chairs for Nicoletti Home: NEST, a timeless chair also available with a footstool, with soft shapes and an embracing design, and VELA, a sculptured design, light and floating thanks to its metal structure and a mix of craftsmanship and modernity.
VELANicoletti Home’s real challenge is represented by an absolute new entry, model TEMPTATION, the first sofa with a powered chaise longue that turns into a bed: a 70s design reinterpreted into a contemporary style by the creative inspiration of Lorenzo Nicoletti, who has been able to create a welcoming, elegant look on a unique model. Thin armrests provide more room to the seating area. Its unique comfort, ensured by high backrests and a generous depth, is further appreciated thanks to an electric mechanism that turns the chaise longue into a real bed. A further step forward to that search for innovation in which Nicoletti Home has always believed. The Temptation is not just a sofa, it is a harmonious dynamic living project.
VELATogether with the Temptation, other new entries will be shown, all characterised by metal structures so to enhance a modern, sophisticated look: COCOON, the ideal solution for urban spaces, thanks to thin armrests supported by an elegant base; CORSICA, an iconic sofa with a sophisticated design, characterized by quilted cover that highlights a careful artisan work, and LULÙ, with a unique charm thanks to the design of the armrests and to the shape of its metal feet.
CORSICA“Nicoletti Home will attend imm Cologne for the second consecutive year, after a 4-year break," says Giancarlo Nicoletti, President of the Company placed in Matera. “Following the 2019 success, the decision to enlarge the exhibition area is related to the need to display a transversal collection suitable for the heterogeneous demand coming from the main Countries usually attending such a trade fair: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Belgium, United Kingdom and Eastern Europe”.
DENERIS“imm Cologne exhibition is closely related to business, this is the place where you have the time to start negotiations with the biggest European Groups as the emotional and image features are definitely less evident if we compare this event to the leading trade show which is Salone del Mobile di Milano” continues Giancarlo Nicoletti.
